within its jurisdiction. To provide comments on specific agenda items, please complete a speaker’s request
form and provide the completed form to the Board Secretary prior to the board meeting.
IV. CONSENT CALENDAR - All consent calendar matters are routine and will be acted upon in one motion.
There will be no discussion of these items unless board members, administrative staff, or members of the
public request specific items to be discussed and/or removed prior to the vote for approval.

VI. DISCUSSION ITEMS
A. Authorization to Set a Public Hearing for Consideration of the New Water Conservation
Rules and Regulations to Reduce Water Waste [Director Memorandum No. 19-047 - Page

RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to
schedule a public hearing for May 21, 2019.
B. Discussion Regarding the Implementation of the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency
Imported Water Rate to Calimesa Customers [Director Memorandum No. 19-048 - Page 41
of 66]
RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the Board authorizes the General Manager to (1)
utilize the District’s Beaumont Basin Storage Account for reducing the purchase of
imported water from the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency until the pass-through
rate is adjusted; and (2) schedule a community meeting to inform the public about
the increased imported water rates by the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency.
