hanging at around the same depth we lost the sounding probe. Unfortunately
Banning M-8 well is no longer useful for monitoring water levels in the basin.
✓ Barometric Probe at Banning M-9 stop working on New Year’s Day. We still do
not know the reason for this and we will visit the site after the regular Board meeting

New Monitoring Sites
A new water level probe was installed at BCVWD Well No. 25, located in the
central/eastern portion of the basin. The probe sits at 650-ft below ground in this pumping
well. Static level at this well was measured at 493 ft below surface while pumping level
is in the mid-500s.
Potential New Monitoring Sites
Potential new monitoring sites include:
• Sharondale Home Owner Association wells
• Rancho Calimesa Mobile Home Park
• Desert Lawn
• Sunny Cal Ranch Area
• Plantation by the Lake well
New Equipment Requirements
• A 600 ft sounding probe
• A 400 ft communications cable for YVWD Well No. 34
