Analysis to Estimate Storage Losses in the Beaumont Basin –
Project Progress Update
Recommendation: No Recommendation.
Under Task Order No. 14, the ALDA Inc./Thomas Harder & Co. team were tasked to
evaluate groundwater storage losses from the Beaumont Basin under various recharge
and recovery scenarios. Previously, a number of recharge scenarios have been
presented for consideration by the Board and to obtain necessary feedback.
The purpose of this agenda item is to present the progress of the evaluation of the various
recharge and recovery scenarios being evaluated and to provide members of the
Watermaster Committee the opportunity to comment on the direction of the study and the
results obtained thus far.
