Subject: Discussion Regarding the “Facts About the Beaumont Basin
Watermaster”
Recommendation: That the Watermaster Committee provides comments on the draft
document to be included as part of future meeting packets.
At the Watermaster Committee meeting on October 3, 2018, the Watermaster Committee
members discussed a concept to provide general information about the Watermaster at
the back of each meeting packet. The purpose of this information is to: (1) provide general
information about the Watermaster for the public; and (2) to provide quick access to facts
for the Watermaster Committee members.
It would be possible to add the Judgment to the back of each meeting packet for
reference, but since the additional pages would increase the printing costs for our
meetings the Judgment has been excluded.
A draft fact sheet is attached for your review and comment. This draft document has also
been attached to this meeting packet to show how the material will be included in future
meeting packets.
