Subject: Consideration of a Resolution No. 2018-11 Updating CalPERS Employer
Paid Member Contributions (EPMC) for Classic Members
Recommendation: That the Board adopts Resolution No. 2018-11.
At the February 6, 2018 board meeting, the Board of Directors will be considering: (1)
Memorandum of Agreement with the General Employees of the Yucaipa Valley Water District; (2)
Amendment No. 1 to the Memorandum of Agreements for the Management – Supervisory
Employee Bargaining Group; and (3) Amendment No. 1 to the Memorandum of Agreements for
the Management Exempt Employee Bargaining Group.
Included in the above-mentioned agreements, Classic PERS unit members shall be responsible
for paying the employee portion of the PERS retirement contribution effective February 26, 2018.
Approval of Resolution No. 2018-11 will authorize PERS to make this change as the District
currently pays this portion of the contribution.
