Subject: Consideration of Resolution No. 2018-24 Supporting the Application for
Small-Scale Water Efficiency Projects for Fiscal Year 2018 Grant from the
Bureau of Reclamation

Recommendation: That the Board Adopt Resolution No. 2018-24.

The District staff reviewed a grant
opportunity for the continued
installation of automatic meter reading
infrastructure (AMI) to be used to collect
water usage information quickly and
more frequently. This grant focuses on
the small-scale on-the-ground
projects that seek to conserve, better
manage, or otherwise make more
efficient use of water supplies. The
District’s AMI project meets the
criteria for this grant.

This resolution is required to submit a
complete application to the Bureau of
Reclamation.
