Subject: Overview of Performing a Root Cause Analysis to Study and Resolve Foaming
Issue at the Wochholz Regional Water Recycling Facility
The District staff is in the process of reviewing the current treatment strategies and equipment in
place at the Wochholz Regional Water Recycling Facility. There are a few process improvements
at the secondary treatment process that can result in reduced energy costs and improved
treatment with less foaming issues.
The attached document outlines the proposed approach to actively involve the District operations
staff with a consultant from Separation Processes to identify alternatives for the elimination of
foam at the Wochholz Regional Water Recycling Facility.
