Subject: Discussion Regarding the Use of Political Consultants and Lobbyists for Calendar
Years 2019, 2020, and 2021
Over the past couple of years, the Yucaipa Valley Water District has maintained a contract with
Platinum Advisors and Delta Partners to provide lobbying support and political consulting to
pursue grant funding opportunities. The District remains very competitive in seeking and receiving
grants for capital improvement projects.
The District staff recommends discussing the use of a lobbyist and political consultant for the next
three years.
