Subject: Adoption of the Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal
Year 2020
Recommendation: That the Board adopts the budget as presented.
On Tuesday, June 11, 2019, the Yucaipa Valley Water District conducted a budget workshop to
review the proposed operating budget for next year. During the budget workshop, the District
staff provided a detailed overview of each individual line item for the water, sewer, and recycled
water enterprise funds of the District.
There were no changes recommended to the budget other than minor language changes and
clarification of various “miscellaneous” items.
Budget Overview
The Fiscal Year 2020 operating budget totals $27,974,659 (excluding capital improvement
projects) distinguished by the following three enterprise funds.
