A. Overview of the Proposed Construction Contract for the Wildwood Canyon Road
Sewer Mainline Replacement Project [Workshop Memorandum No. 19-124] -
Implementation Manager Matthew Porras provided a detailed overview of the
emergency repairs associated with the mid-February storm incident, that occurred
from February 13-15, 2019. The incident has been identified as CDAA 2019-02
by the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services.
The proposed project will relocate the sewer mainline to Wildwood Canyon Road
to avoid future damage to the section of mainline in Wildwood Creek. The bids
were obtained pursuant to District’s procurement policy and are significantly less
than the engineer’s estimate. This item will be presented at the board meeting on
June 18, 2019 for approval of the construction contract.
