Member Joseph Zoba motioned to receive and file item “B” of the consent calendar. Chairman Burk seconded the motion. The motion passed 5-0. VI. Reports A. Report from Engineering Consultant – Hannibal Blandon, Alda Engineering Mr. Blandon advised the Committee that a draft report should be ready for the meeting in April. He also reminded the Committee that a number of monitoring wells’ data has not been collected. B. Report from Legal Counsel – Keith McCullough, Alvarado Smith Mr. McCullough had nothing to report. VII. Special Project Committee of Beaumont Cherry Valley Water District, City of Banning, Yucaipa Valley Water District, and South Mesa Mutual Water Company A. Status Report on the Beaumont Basin Groundwater Model and Redetermination of Safe Yield [Watermaster Memorandum No. 14-01] Recommendation: No recommendation. Engineering Consultant Mr. Tom Harder gave a presentation on the groundwater flow model for the Beaumont Basin and the Beaumont Adjudication Area used to reevaluate the safe yield of the Basin. VIII. Topics for Future Meetings Chairman Duane Burk requested that an item be added for discussion of any conflict of interest that may occur should the City of Banning retain the services of the Watermaster Engineering Consultant Tom Harder for a project outside of the Basin area. IX. Comments from the Watermaster Committee Members Member Joseph Zoba thanked the Committee Members and the public who have worked with the Watermaster over the last 10 years since the Adjudication. X. Announcements A. The next regular meeting of the Beaumont Basin Watermaster is scheduled for Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Chairman Duane Burk made the announcement above. XI.
