I. Call to Order
Chairman Duane Burk called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m.
II. Roll Call
City of Banning Duane Burk Present
City of Beaumont Dave Dillon Absent
Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District Eric Fraser Present
South Mesa Water Company George Jorritsma Present
Yucaipa Valley Water District Joseph Zoba Present
Kyle Warsinski was present as the alternate representing the City of Beaumont in the absence of
Member Dave Dillon. Keith McCullough was present representing legal counsel for the
Watermaster.
Members of the public who registered their attendance were: John Jeter, Fran Flanders, John
Guldseth, Bill Dickson, Barbara Voight, Carl K, Bob Wall, Pat Aspan, Nancy Carroll, John M.
Halliwill, Mary Ann Melleby, Tom Harder, Patsy Reeley and John Covington.
III. Pledge of Allegiance,
Joseph Zoba led the pledge of allegiance.
IV. Public Comments
John Halliwill commented on the conservation information contained on the Beaumont-Cherry
Valley Water District’s website and Governor Brown’s Executive Order on drought.
Judy Bingham commented on the WRCOG $42 million lawsuit lost by the City of Beaumont.
Nancy Carroll suggested a proactive approach to water conservation is an anonymous suggestion
box. Member Eric Fraser noted that the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District has an anonymous
water waster program. Conservation efforts will be discussed at a future Watermaster meeting.
