I. Call to Order - 4:00 p.m.
II. Public Comments - General Manager Joseph Zoba recognized the members of the Board
of Directors and District staff in attendance. There were no public comments.
III. Staff Report - General Manager Joseph Zoba discussed the following items:
New York Times editorial, Recycled Water is Crucial;
Press Enterprise article about recycled water in the Wildomar area;
Assembly Bill No. 2443 discussion by the City of Calimesa on July 7, 2014;
The District to host regular breakfast informational meetings;
Moody’s affirmation of the District’s A1 rating; and
A reminder that there will be no workshop or board meeting during the week of July
21, 2014.
IV. Presentations
A. Overview of California Drought Conditions and Related Regional Issues
[Workshop Memorandum No. 14-106] - General Manager Joseph Zoba provided
an overview of the current drought conditions.
B. Overview of the Subsurface Investigation for the Yucaipa Basin Area [Workshop
Memorandum No. 14-107] - Operations Manager Bob Wall provided an overview
of the cooperative well drilling activity to classify the soil characteristics in the
region.
V. Administrative Items
A. Status Report on the Statewide Community Infrastructure Program and the
Construction of Reservoir R-12.4 [Workshop Memorandum No. 14-108] - General
