Subject: Consideration of Proposed Budget Adjustments for Fiscal Year 2017-18
Recommendation: That the Board, by minute order, approves the attached budget
adjustments for Fiscal Year 2017-18.
The following are adjustments to the 2017-18 Adopted budget based on trending and/or items
that were not anticipated when the initial budget was adopted in June 2017.
For both the water and sewer funds there is no overall change to revenues and expenses. For
the recycled water fund there is an increase of $14,370 in both revenue and expenses. After the
adjustments, this continues to be a balanced budget.
District staff anticipates making budget recommendations and adjustments at least twice during
the fiscal year. Another budget adjustment is expected to be presented in the third or fourth
quarter of the fiscal year.
