Subject: Status Report on the Implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure
On September 5, 2017, the Board of Directors authorized the District staff to proceed with the
implementation of an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system. This system will involve
the activation of existing water meters to connect to a fixed based system for recording the water
use throughout the District’s service area.
The purpose of this workshop item is to provide an update on the status of the system.
