Financial Impact to New Development
Depending on the final imported water rate adopted by the San Gorgonio Pass Water Agency,
new development will also be impacted by the significance of the proposed rate adjustment. The
table below shows the charges to new development based on the existing imported water rate of
$309/acre foot as compared to Scenario 3 which is described as the worst-case scenario.
This table illustrates the cost for new development will be increased to $8,953 for a dual-sourced
home, as compared to the existing cost of $6,846.
