Subject: Status Report on the Annual Repairs and Rehabilitation of the Yucaipa Valley
Regional Water Filtration Facility
Each year the District staff takes the Yucaipa Valley
Regional Water Filtration Facility (YVRWFF) out of
service to perform routine inspections and repairs to
prepare the drinking water facility for summertime
operation.
The purpose of this agenda item is to discuss the status
and schedule of the anticipated repairs.
On Thursday, January 31, 2019 the State Water Project
water flow was stopped, and the maintenance tasks
were started.
The YVRWFF repairs and maintenance are complete
and will resume operations on March 14, 2019, a week
later than originally planned.
