Subject: Overview of New Operational Strategies and Procedures at the Wochholz
Regional Water Recycling Facility
At the board workshop meeting on March 12, 2019, District staff
reported on various operational issues at the Wochholz
Regional Water Recycling Facility.
The detection of several fouled microfiltration modules was one
of these topics. District staff has since developed a method to
effectively flush individual modules. At this point, two
microfiltration racks (95 modules each) have been flushed,
cleaned and returned to service.
The purpose of this agenda item is to provide an overview of the
cleaning process and an update on other operational issues.
