Watermaster Activities
2.2 Watermaster Accomplishments and Activities
During 2016
2.2.1 Watermaster Meetings
A total of six regular meetings were held during CY 2016 on the following dates:
February 3, 2016 April 6, 2016
June 1, 2016 August 3, 2016
October 5, 2016 December 7, 2016
Agendas and approved minutes from each of the above meetings can be viewed at and/or
downloaded from Watermaster’s website or by making a request to the Watermaster Secretary.
Pursuant to Resolution 2009-001, all of Watermaster’s public records are open for inspection during
office hours, provided that a written request to inspect said records has been submitted.
2.2.2 Watermaster Committee Resolutions
Resolution No. 2015-01 was adopted at the April 1 , 2015 Regular Watermaster Committee

meeting. Through this resolution, the Final 2013 Reevaluation of the Beaumont Basin Safe Yield
Report and Redetermination of the Safe Yield of the Beaumont Basin were adopted. See Technical
Memorandum 15-07 for details.
2.2.3 Items Discussed in 2016
This section is simply an unofficial summary of topics addressed at Watermaster meetings. The
Beaumont Basin Watermaster maintains official meeting minutes that report the items discussed
and actions taken during normal and special meetings. Official meeting minutes may be accessed

The following items were discussed during the six meetings held in CY 2015 along with their
resulting outcome.
Items Discussed During the February 3, 2016 Regular Watermaster Committee Meeting
Reorganization of the Beaumont Basin Watermaster Committee [Memorandum 16-01].
Members Vela and Jorritsma were nominated and confirmed as Chairman and Vice-
Chairman respectively. Members Fraser and Zoba were reaffirmed as Secretary and
Treasurer respectively.
Status Report on Water Level Monitoring throughout the Beaumont Basin [Memorandum
16-02]. Mr. Blandon gave a status report of the water level monitoring project.
Discussion Regarding Task Order No. 9 for the Preparation of the 2015 Consolidated
Annual Report, Estimate of the Basin Safe Yield, Update of the Groundwater Model, and
Associated Consulting Services [Memorandum 16-03]. Watermaster Committee approved
Task Order No. 9 for a sum not to exceed $81,940.00.
