Subject: Consideration of Resolution No. 2017-05 Adopting Guidelines for Members
of the Board of Directors
Recommendation: That the Board adopts Resolution No. 2017-05.
At the board workshop on December 13, 2016, the District staff discussed the existing Resolution
No. 2014-07 related to guidelines for members of the Board of Directors. Even though there were
no changes made to the resolution, the District staff recommends presenting the guidelines on an
annual basis as a new resolution to share with the public an important document that summarizes
the fundamental processes used by the District to make decisions as a team.
