Subject: Review of Proposed Insurance Policy for Fiscal Year 2018
Yucaipa Valley Water District currently has a property/liability insurance policy with Inland
Counties Insurance Services Brokerage with insurance coverage provided by Water Plus
Insurance Program and Allied World Assurance Coverage.
The District staff has investigated pooled insurance options this year, but the cost is significantly
greater with less coverage than our existing policy. Therefore, while the District staff explored
different insurance options, the attached policy renewal provides the most comprehensive and
cost effective coverage for the District.
