Subject: Overview of the Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan for Fiscal Year
2018
On Monday, May 22, 2017, the Yucaipa Valley Water District conducted a budget workshop to
review the proposed operating budget for next year. During the budget workshop, the District
staff provided a detailed overview of each individual line item for the water, sewer, and recycled
water enterprise funds of the District. Based on the discussion at the board workshop, the District
staff made changes to the budget as summarized on the attached documentation.
Budget Overview
The Fiscal Year 2018 operating budget totals $26,853,536 (excluding capital improvement
projects) distinguished by the following three enterprise funds.
Water Division,
