The initial installation planned is 1,200 radio
transceivers and Smart Point meter lids installed in
the Chapman Heights Community. This installation
will complete the Chapman Heights Community
conversion to the AMI system.
Financial Consideration: Funding for this project
will be from the grant mentioned above in the amount
of $1,000,000. The balance of the project will be
funded from the Water Fund, Infrastructure Reserves
[GL Account #02-10311]. This project is included in
the 2018-19 budget as a Capital Improvement
Project. There is sufficient funding available in the
reserve fund.
