Traffic Control Coordination
District staff has coordinated with the City of Yucaipa regarding the option to detour the vehicular
traffic on Wildwood Canyon Road during the construction work hours to provide a safe and
efficient alternative to allowing traffic to enter the work area in the vicinity of a trench that will vary
from 14-17 feet deep.
Financial Considerations
District staff attended the 2019 February Storm Event Applicants Briefing on June 5, 2019 and
filed an initial application for the resulting storm damage of the incident (CDAA 2019-02) with
California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services. This funding reimbursement opportunity
may cover up to 75% of the project costs. Depending on the result of the State funding, the
remaining balance will be funded from Sewer Fund, Infrastructure Reserves [GL Account #03-
10311] as there is sufficient funding available.
