Groundwater Remediation
• Project manager for the ongoing treatment of hexavalent chromium-contaminated
groundwater at a former cooling tower facility in Stockton, California. This work includes the
evaluation of hydraulic capture by the remedial well field and the effects of a full-scale in situ
remediation program in chemically reducing hexavalent chromium to trivalent chromium.
• Project manager for the design, installation and implementation of an aggressive shallow
subsurface soil vapor extraction system at a former chemical manufacturing facility in Los
Angeles, California. The project reduced residual concentrations of chlorinated solvents to
levels where the State of California issued a No Further Action letter.
